Oasis Property Insurance Services Ltd were incorporated in October 2005 and commenced trading in April 2006 having successfully received full FSA approval for non-investment insurance business.
The joint managing directors Nigel Attwood and Cliff Jarvis bring an abundance of experience in commercial and residential property to the insurance market and have facilities in place with all the major insurers.
We are truly independent brokers with a proven track record of delivering bespoke solutions to global property owners, investors and managing agents as well as giving advice on setting up captive arrangements.
The team at Oasis fully understand the demands and needs of their market and aim to provide a highly personalised, efficient and knowledgeable service at competitive rates to their customers.
In addition to the core skills on property insurance Oasis are also able to facilitate most other classes of insurance and are happy to discuss specific requirements.
The Team
Nigel Attwood.
A Property Insurance stalwart having spent 12 years underwriting at London & Edinburgh Insurance and 10 years broking (so far) which included several years playing a key role in the growth and development of Keelan Westall Plc.
Nigel is responsible for the day to day running of our Head Office in Worthing and liaison with all of our key property clients.
Nigel is a dedicated family man with three children who take up most of his free time, although he still finds time to travel the land following his beloved Brighton & Hove Albion.

Cliff Jarvis
trained as an Accountant after gaining his Business degree and worked for Pira International (a leading international research organisation in Leatherhead) for seventeen years latterly as main Board Director and Company Secretary.
He arranged the company's general insurances with Michael Palmer who was working for Shephard Herriott in 1981.
In 1989-90 he studied and achieved an MBA in his spare time.
In 1998 he joined Keelan Westall a small property insurance Plc which had outgrown its financial systems.
This opportunity allowed him to bring to bear his depth of financial and management accounting experience and in less than two years he was made Finance Director.
At Keelan Westall he met Nigel Attwood, a fellow director, and after they left the company in 2005 they formed Oasis Property Insurance Services Ltd.
Cliff fills his spare time with sailing (both competitively and for pleasure) in the UK and abroad.
He is also passionate about opera, the equestrian world, and cricket. As far as football is concerned he admits to being an Arsenal fan.

Michael D Palmer ACII, Chartered Insurance Broker
started his career in insurance in 1970 and has worked in the insurance business all of his working life.
Prior to joining Oasis in 2008 Mike had worked for his previous employer, Shephards, for a continuous period in excess of 30 years, holding a Directorship for part of that period.
Initially specialising in motor insurance, Mike has many years of experience in transacting most forms of general insurance and has looked after major client accounts for companies including PLC's, International Organisations, Research Establishments and Property Owners.
Mike achieved the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIIBA) Certificate of Competence in 1983, qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) in 1990 and obtained Chartered status in June 2001 as a Chartered Insurance Broker.
Mike has been married for 33 years and has 2 children aged 32 and 31. His hobbies include Harley Davidson motorcycling and following AFC Wimbledon football club.

Derek Mead, FRICS.
As a Chartered Surveyor Derek has enjoyed a long career specialising in residential and commercial property investment and management throughout the UK with companies such as MEPC plc Prudential plc and Axa Sun Life.
Currently his main activity is business expansion and he is also involved with the Oasis ‘Extended Management' items such as Fire Risk Assessments, Smoke-free compliance, Health & Safety Risk Assessments and Electrical and Asbestos Inspections.
